Security Update to the SFTP Server
A recent security audit revealed that our file transfer servers support some weak SSH authentication methods. Although our servers are restricted to known customers, we thought it was prudent to update them to remove this potential vulnerability as security is of paramount importance to us.
Unfortunately, some older versions of our gateway have reported problems connecting to the new configuration and generate the error “crypto algorithm could not be negotiated” within the gateway process history.
If you are affected by this error message your application will require updating.
If so please contact support@sfl.co.uk.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
